Sebago Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Gorham, Maine. In 2019, they approached us to create can designs for their new series of limited small-batch brews. These beers are a showcase of the brewers’ craftsmanship and creativity, so we wanted the cans to be as special and unique as their contents.

Inspired by the beer’s name, the client originally asked us to design a can that hailed from the Memphis design movement of the 80s. Wanting to take it back even further, the final design was inspired by the De Stijl movement, with a refreshed color palette and design elements to echo the bright colors and patterns of more contemporary design. As the beer profile says, it ends the workday and gets the party started.
