Sebago Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Gorham, Maine. In 2019, they approached us to create can designs for their new series of limited small-batch brews. These beers are a showcase of the brewers’ craftsmanship and creativity, so we wanted the cans to be as special and unique as their contents.

Barleywine is a beer with a bold flavor and dark color, slowly aged for many months in bourbon barrels. This specialty beer is released once a year, adding premium to the product. We wanted this design to have an elegant and high-profile look and feel, and gathered inspiration from vintage bottles of spirits. The gold color knocks out to can, giving it metallic accents. We used a matte finish on the produced cans to further distinguish it from others in Sebago’s portfolio.
