The Beamhouse

The Beamhouse is a full-service restaurant located in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Their menu features refined comfort food, craft cocktails and specialty beers. The restaurant also has a separate Taproom inside the location, which we also created branding for. The restaurant is a modern space that celebrates traditional materials and craftsmanship, and is located at the site of an historic tannery. This provided backstory for the project and inspired the brand marks we created. The main logo features a fleshing knife, a tool used in the process of leather-making. We also created a collection of other tools from the time period as part of the brand package.
