Yellow On Friday Pilsner

Sebago Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Gorham, Maine. In 2019, they approached us to create can designs for their new series of limited small-batch brews. These beers are a showcase of the brewers’ craftsmanship and creativity, so we wanted the cans to be as special and unique as their contents.

The name, Yellow on Friday, was inspired by brewery owner, Brad Monarch, and his tradition of wearing yellow every Friday. The beer is a classic Czech-style Pilsner, and the structure of the design elements was inspired by vintage beer can design. Wrapping the word “yellow” in a pattern creates a dynamic quality that would be visually intriguing on the shelf.
